Singapore GP is inviting suitable candidates to be part of the FORMULA 1 2018 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX, Asia’s biggest and most highly anticipated motorsports event. To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off the track, we seek exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following positions:

PERMANENT POSITION(S)

Ticketing Executive

A key member of the Ticketing team, you will assist in managing all aspects of ticketing operations for the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. The scope includes customer service, order processing, logistics support, contract evaluation, production and distribution of tickets. You are also expected to prepare and analyse daily sales reports and propose actionable insights.

Key Requirements:

• Degree Holder in any discipline
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a client servicing environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team player who is meticulous and organised
• Able to work under pressure, quick thinker and effective problem solver
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

TEMPORARY POSITION(S)

Circuit Park Operations Supervisors
(Contract position)

You will be required to manage our ushers and Circuit Park guides, in addition to overseeing the operations at the Information Booths, grandstands and gates. You will need to conduct briefing and site recces in the lead up to the event and as a resourceful team player, you will also be required to aid the security team during dispersal and crowd control. Helpful, mature and meticulous with a friendly and personable disposition, you constantly strive to provide genuinely great service. An effective problem solver, you are a quick thinker and able to work under pressure.

Key requirements:

• Experience in events / customer relations / hospitality preferred
• Physically fit and enjoy the outdoors
• Proficient in English
• Willing to work long hours, on shift and weekends. Must be available all day from 13 to 16 September
• Must be able to attend training on the following days: 7, 8, 14, 21 & 22 July and 11, 18 & 25 August

Suite Ambassadors
(Contract position)

You are required to support the hospitality and customer service team in the Formula One Paddock Club, Sky and Club Suites, as well as the Green Room. You will need to manage all aspects of the hospitality experience within these suites, including F&B service, guest relations, client liaison and the implementation of Singapore GP’s service standards. You will also be required to assist service staff when necessary. Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme. Applicants should demonstrate excellent social and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key requirements:

• At least 5 years of customer service experience (applicants from the hospitality and financial industry are welcome). Experience within the airline industry would be an advantage however by no means essential.
• The ability to deal with VIP guests at the highest level.
• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours).
• Able to work for 5 days (12 to 16 September 2018 and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2018).

Guest Support Officers
(Contract position)

You are required to support the hospitality and customer service team in the Formula One Paddock Club, Sky and Club Suites, as well as the Green Room. Applicants should demonstrate excellent social and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This position is only open to Singaporeans / Singapore PRs. Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme.

Key requirements:

• At least 2 years of customer service experience (applicants from the hospitality and financial industry are welcome).
• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours).
• Ability to work for 5 days over the race weekend (12 to 16 September 2018 and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2018).

Ticketing Coordinators

3 contract positions:
(1) April to October
(2) June to October
(3) August to October

You will support the Ticketing team by managing in-house ticketing operations, respond to customer enquiries, process ticket bookings and facilitate ticket fulfilment. In addition, you will provide sales and logistics support for ticket orders from corporate groups, VIP clients and overseas travel agents.

Key requirements:

• Experience in a customer service / administrative role preferred
• Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and vendors
• Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn
• Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word)
• Willing to work long hours, on shift and weekends
