Singapore GP is inviting candidates to be a part of Asia’s biggest motorsports extravaganza, the 2017 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off track, we are seeking exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following positions:

TEMPORARY POSITIONS

Events Manager
(Contract June to September 2017)

As part of the Communications team, you will be responsible for overseeing and organising events, ensuring they are successful and make an impact to a target audience. You will be required to provide on-ground support and communicate effectively to all external vendors and stakeholders, paying attention to budget and time constraints. In addition, you will be required to manage and motivate a team of ground crew that will be assigned to you.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of three years working experience in event management or in a similar capacity/industry
• Team player who can also function independently in a dynamic environment
• Strength in strategic and detailed planning
• Ability to multi-task and accommodate ongoing on ground changes
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• On ground operational execution of plans
• Meticulous, possess good management, analytical and problem solving skills in dynamic situations
• Able to work over weekends and extended hours
• Good command of English and good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office

Communications and Events Executive
(Contract June to September 2017)

As a key member of the Communications team, you will be responsible for various aspects of team’s event management and communications functions. You will be required to provide administrative and operational support for the team, including collating media clippings, managing media accreditation as well as assisting in the logistics for media familiarisation visits and community outreach events.

Key Requirements:

• Minimally a Diploma in Events Management/Mass Communications/Media or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcome, but prior work experience in events management will be advantageous.
• Proficient in the English language as well as in Microsoft Office
• Able to work under pressure, quick thinker and solutions driven
• Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Organised, and meticulous with a friendly disposition
• Able to learn quickly and work independently
• Knowledge of social media platforms will be advantageous

Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive
(6-month contract position)

You will assist in the development and implementation of strategies and partnerships in key markets. Besides possessing good interpersonal and writing skills, you should be detail-oriented and able to multi-task on various projects. You will also be required to manage direct and digital engagement campaigns as well as key branding functions for the 2017 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years’ experience for Marketing Manager and three years' experience for Senior Marketing Executive in a global marketing role with preference for lifestyle, luxury, sports or event marketing.
• Able to commit to the role from April to October 2017.

Race Operations Executive
(5 months contract)

As a key member of the Race Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day office and administrative operations including sourcing of suppliers, management of inventory, and procurement. You should be organised, a quick thinker and be able to work under deadline pressure. Administrative work experience is advantageous.

Accreditation Coordinator
(Contract position – April to October)

A key member of the Accreditation team, you will be required to work with key partners and stakeholders to ensure all qualified personnel are accredited with the proper access passes and decals. You will also work with third-party vendors in the enhancement and development process of the accreditation system.

• Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and third-party vendors.
• Strong team player who is analytical, meticulous, resourceful and organised.

Ticketing Coordinators
(Contract position)

3 contract positions:
(1) April to October
(2) June to October
(3) July to September

You will support the Ticketing Team by managing in-house ticketing operations, respond to customer enquiries, process ticket bookings and facilitate ticket fulfilment. In addition, you will provide sales and logistics support for ticket orders from corporate groups, VIP clients and overseas travel agents.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a customer service / administrative role preferred.
• Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and vendors.
• Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn.
• Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word).
• Willing to work long hours, on shift and weekends.
