Super Pit patrons will be seated at the upper rows in selected blocks (A4 - A16) of the Pit Grandstand. This gives race fans spectacular views of the Pit Straight, team garages, starting grid or finish line. Super Pit ticketholders will also receive a commemorative ticket, lanyard as well as priority access at Gate 1.

Petrolheads will experience the thrill first-hand as drivers tackle the final corner at about 220 km/h before going full throttle towards the chequered flag. Here, you can witness the spectacular fireworks at the end of the race and join in the celebrations on the track as you see first-hand the crowning of a champion at the podium.

The Pit Straight has seen its share of excitement over the years. In 2016, the night race began in stunning fashion only seconds after the red lights went out – Nico Hulkenberg's Force India spun around upon contact with Toro Rosso’s Carlos Sainz and crashed into the pit wall. And who can forget how Heikki Kovalainen’s Lotus burst into flames in the final leg of the 2010 race, prompting him to extinguish the fire himself.

Patrons at the Connaught Grandstand will have superb views of the Formula One™ cars racing across the Esplanade Bridge at speeds of up to 280km/h, and jostling for overtaking opportunities at the Turn 14 right-hander. In 2012, Michael Schumacher outbraked himself and rammed his Mercedes into the back of Jean-Eric Vergne’s Toro Rosso, taking both cars out of the race.

This tight corner was the scene of another incident in 2009 involving Adrian Sutil, Nick Heidfeld and Jaime Alguersuari, which forced a premature retirement for Sutil in the race. Certain seats also offer a view of Turn 8, where Lewis Hamilton was forced to retire at the run-off area after his collision with Mark Webber in 2010.

Spectators at the Bay Grandstand will hear the roar beneath their feet as the cars race past the picturesque waterfront stretch and drive underneath the Bay Grandstand, one of the most unique features of the Singapore track.

Because this section of track requires the drivers to negotiate four angled turns (16 to 19) in quick succession, it has proven to be an Achilles’ heel for many of them. In 2013, Daniel Ricciardo’s Toro Rosso hit the wall on the outside of Turn 18 and retired. In 2012, Narain Karthikeyan lost control of his HRT and crashed into the Turn 18 barriers while Bruno Senna in 2010 rammed his car into Kamui Kobayashi’s stationary BMW Sauber which had fallen prey to the same barriers earlier.

The Bay Grandstand is perhaps best known for the notorious 2008 Nelson Piquet Junior incident that took place after Turn 17, in addition to bungled moves a year later by Romain Grosjean at the same location.

Bay Grandstand ticketholders are spoilt for choice when it comes to food and beverage, with outlets at the grandstand’s undercroft as well as at the nearby Esplanade Theatres by the Bay.

*To move from Zone 1 to Zone 4, patrons in wheelchairs are advised to exit Zone 1 through Gate 1 and re-enter the Circuit Park through Gate 5 (closest MRT: Raffles Place). Alternatively, patrons in wheelchairs can access the Esplanade, Padang and the main stage in Zone 4 using the track after the final track activity, once the track has been deemed ‘cold’ by the marshals.

Please refer to the Event Guide section for more information on provisions for patrons with limited mobility.

Each customer on a wheelchair can have up to two companions on the Wheelchair Accessible Platform, who each have to purchase the same ticket for entry. These companions will be provided with seats beside the wheelchair slots on the wheelchair-accessible platforms.
